Big Hit 1961!
I just heard this song on Bobby B's Doo Wop. It truly broke my heart. When I was a little girl I fell in what I thought was love. Of couse he was older than me. I prayed he would love me like I loved him. He just thought I was just a baby. He grew up as I did, only I never got the chance to tell him to wait for me. He is still in my heart and mind. The last time I saw him he left for college. I tried to tell him before he left but he brought his girlfriend. I never saw him again. His Aunt who lived next door, that during football practice he hurt his knee. It didn't get better. They found out he had cancer. He never lived to marry anyone. He died 6 months later. He will always be my Johnny. I wished he had lived and married his sweetheart even though it wasn't me. I cry even thinking about this song now. RIP Butch love always
I'm 62 but listening to this I was suddenly back in Standard 2. Mind blowing.
I learned this song @2 1/2 years old! Wow! A blast from the past
Ho! Ya Ho! Ya (skanky) Ho! lol
Heinz was a good friend for over 40years, miss him so much. Love him forever ❤️
Why isn’t it on Spotify
What a talent. Great voice. All his songs are great.
I'm listening to this in 2024;- the Lyrics resonate subtly with me in some ways! Always loved Del Shannon;- at 35: "Which way to turn!";- "Which way to go?". I grew a Chinstrap Beard;- in the Hope that it'd suit me: (Past Idiology!);- found myself completelt loosing contact with Reality;- and now find myself under the Charity of Others;- avoiding Watching the Sport, because there's no: "Real Sense!";- of Community here for me atleast!
Since 2005
Loved this as a young teen...still sounds good

Why do animules - or primitive human tribes people - which eat nothing but meat never suffer heart attacks or strokes? Because they don't mix in refined sugar. Sugar + cholesterol forms a sticky substance which sticks to the interiors of the arteries, hardens there, as plaque, builds up over time, and eventually blocks them.

Big 😮cigare!
A golden oldie for sure.
Reminiscent of the 1970’s still love this. Osmosis.
